An Unjust Weight

"Diverse weights and diverse measures, they are both alike, an abomination to the Lord." Proverbs 20:10

Men, being what they are, have been "tipping the scales" from the beginning of time. Merchants have drilled holes in weights, butchers put their fingers on the scale and the Federal Reserve of the United States of America has legally printed paper money with nothing to back it's value. All these frauds are an abomination to the Lord because they devalue the hard earned money of other people. And thus the commandment, "Thou shall not steal."

Our Nation Debt is the consequence of an ungodly system of economics that legalizes theft. We are paying tens of thousands of dollars for our cars, and upwards of $4 for a loaf of bread because dollar bills are being counterfeited and being "legally" dispersed into our economy by our own political class as a means of economic stimulus. Every dollar thus floated makes every dollar already in circulation worth less. So, we pay more dollars for everything! When an individual is caught printing money they are arrested and punished. When our Federal Government does this they call it, with the help of our Media, Economic Stimulus.

It is "Slavery-Light". We are the Lord's free people. He has given us the right to property. It is to Him we will be held accountable for our use of it. We all have a dog in this fight. Get involved, while you still have a chance, in the ongoing 24/7 discussion of how we are going to live together under law as a free people. I call that discussion, POLITICS.

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan." Proverbs 29:2

  1. So well put, its incredible that our monetary system has come so far. May
God give us a voice again to turn us back to his righteous standard. It is only when a nation (before or after the accomplishment the redemption) looks to God's standards of goodness, righteousness, and wisdom that they may look to rec'v true blessing and freedom. Prov14 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

  2. The monetary system is our Babylon. We need to leave this system. The first step is the churches ridding them selves of the 501c exemption and speaking out what a godly government really is....Romans 13 does not mean laying down and let the government fall into evil but ... well put it this way, there is a reason that so many of the first century believers were martyred..
